Thank you for your invitation to address members of the Institute of Information
Processing Society.  April 4 is a possible date for me to give a talk, but
frankly, the lecture would be a better one if it could be postponed a few
weeks so that I have some time to think about what I want to say after I have
arrived in Japan.  Unfortunately, I will have no time at all to prepare before
leaving Stanford.
